JMR Support Services is a local team providing personalised support for NDIS participants in Young and the Hilltops, as well as Harden and Cootamundra. We help people get out into their community, enjoy recreation and leisure, and feel supported in everyday life — with a bit of fun along the way.

Meet John — Director and Support Mentor

John founded JMR Support Services and still works hands-on with participants across the Hilltops. He holds a Certificate IV in Disability Support and a First Aid certificate, and has a police check and a Working With Children Check.

John has worked in disability support for many years, helping participants with everyday living. His real passion is supporting people with their wellbeing, recreation and leisure as they get out into their community and try new experiences.

Outside work, John enjoys sport, bike riding, swimming, photography, Lego, movies, music and animals — and loves sharing those interests with the people he supports.

Our team

John works alongside our support workers Alana, Phil and Matt. Together we support participants with community access, everyday living, appointments and getting to the places that matter.

How we work

  • Personalised: support matched to your goals and your NDIS plan

  • Local: we know Young, the Hilltops, Harden and Cootamundra

  • Community-based: outings, sport, events, hobbies and day trips

  • Friendly: clear communication with participants, families, plan managers and support coordinators

Funding

We're not an NDIS-registered provider, so we support participants whose funding is plan-managed or self-managed. Not sure how your plan works? Give us a call and we'll talk it through.

Where we work

Young, the Hilltops, Harden and Cootamundra. We can also provide transport to specialist appointments in Wagga Wagga when arranged.
